The country-specific rates often have cheaper per-minute or roaming prices than German providers. That is the great advantage of country-specific rates. Cost traps can however hide behind some rate options.
Pay particular attention to the price lists, in order to get the exact price for connections and basic charges. The contractual partner must make the price lists or contractual conditions accessible to you. Sometimes there is a connection price alongside the provided talking price, which is not immediately recognizable at first glance.
Flat or flat all-network deals, which are recommended for frequent callers, do not apply in Turkey or Russia or only apply to landlines. Therefore you should closely examine what the flat rate deal actually includes.
